Lions Land Hard Knocks on HBO

thanks.
i don’t have cable per se’, i get channels through Fubo which has a DVR. Fubo doesn’t come with HBO, but via my Roku, I can add HBO as a channel (for the monthly fee). But since I’ll get it outside of the Fubo app, I probably can’t record it via Fubo. Maybe with HBO max (rather than just HBO) you can stream it anytime after it plays? – I see that I can add HBO max via Roku for 9.99 with ads or 14.99 without ads.

That is correct. Everything I’ve seen is indicating that episodes will be available on HBO Max shortly after they begin live on HBO.

Best guess? You’ll be able to start watching Hard Knocks on HBO Max at nearly the same time it begins live on HBO. Just a guess…You may need to wait until the episode concludes but no doubt that it will at least be available to stream (without any sort of DVR functionality) next day.

I’m still thinking of buying a subscription and then cancelling it afterwards….

How about a great TD Catch for Hock! Got the elbow down.

If you get a 30-day trial of HBO through a cable system like Spectrum, it includes access to HBO Max where you can watch whenever.

If you get a free trial through HBO Max directly or say Prime Channels, it’s only 7 days.

So choose wisely based on your needs!

Yup, me too. Definitely worth it for not just their current but their infinite backlog of content, both original and non.

Okay, I just found out that you can get free HBO thru DeShaun Watson at his place. You just go over there and he will let you know what you have to do.

Agreed.

Removed my comment because it came across as pretty rude. I wasn’t trying to be rude but have to admit I am a bit puzzled seeing so many grown men fighting a $9.99 monthly fee for 1-2 months…or even just keeping it going and enjoying the endless great content.

I know a lot of people are struggling out there though so I fully understand that any additional monthly payments can be painful for many.

I have to say I love hbo max, of all the streaming services they offer a ton. Lots of great movies and tv shows. It’s definitely worth it for $10 a month

Just to add we do get it because we have AT&T, so we don’t pay for it (directly) but even if we didn’t we would still have it

Agreed. I am feeling fortunate to be able to afford the $9.99 without concern. HBO has been worth every penny over the years imo.

I didn’t see your caption before watching. The first angle I was like oh that’s out…but then the other angle showed he got the elbow down before landing out. AO with great coverage.

And a perfect throw where only Hock could catch it.

I simply don’t want multiple services. $10 here, $15 there — soon enough you’re sitting in front of the teevee all the time
We used to spend $100 per month on different services.(many moons ago)
I’ve got to the point where I said screw that
Pissing away money — not worth it for me

Don’t be daft. People have cut the cord and ended subscription-based TV for numerous reasons. Some have settled on certain providers, while others have cut the cord completely.

No problem since i genuinely wasnt being daft in the 1st place. I’ve gone through hard times in my life. Times where dealing with another monthly bill, no matter how big or small, was devastating.

Since that’s no longer the case i feel fortunate about it.

I guess it’s all relative.

Ps- i cut the cord myself. I dropped xfinity for youtube tv… and hbo max… and hulu… and roku… and youtube… and paramount… and discovery… and espn+… and netflix… and on and on it seems.

Yeah, that’s the funny thing about it. It’s sort of like “meet the new boss, same as the old boss” if you let it turn into that.

We have Prime, where the TV portion is kind of a bonus. If they started charging extra for Prime Video, I’d cancel it in a heartbeat. OTA television and a few free IPTV channels found on Roku/TVPlus/TeeVee type streams are sufficient, along with various YouTube vlogs.

There’s so much free content out there, the only time I get an itch to pay for service is for MNF.

I’m fine with it. I enjoy the content and don’t mind the bills that come with it. No problem with the new boss, plus it’s still much cheaper with infinitely more content than the old boss.

Redzone is a must for me especially. I do not like to miss a minute of nfl football regardless of the team. Wherever the nfl goes i will be happily paying to watch.

The struggle is real, brother.

As a bonus, if you get HBO, you’ll be able to watch the Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon 08/21-10/23. So you might as well order 3 months.
