I did think that it was pretty cool the way we ended the half. Dropped everyone on the second last attempt with 6 seconds left. Falcons expected the same on the last play with one second left but we brought the heat and caught them completely off guard leading to Campbell’s sack

In particular, Barnes’s productivity when lined up on the ball was visibly superior to Campbell’s.
Jack has the build to play any LB spot but has been an off-ball LB his whole career. That’s where he’ll excel.
Barnes doesn’t have the measurables that scream 34 OLB, but he has the college experience on the line.
This is an interesting development in Lions football. Barnes getting on-the-ball snaps due to Houston’s injury and Campbell also getting them as part of his development. Good stuff. Factor in Anzalone out there flying around and we’re in pretty good shape.
This is the role I was begging for Barnes.

The linebackers have been pretty solid this year. Run defense has gotta be top 10 in the nfl so far. Plus Barnes, Jack and Anzalone each have a sack already.
I love that Nickname and I don’t think it’s an insult. Thor is literally a God so being the dollar store version of that is pretty damn good!
