Check out some of Mark Sanchez’s college numbers. He lit up some great teams, and looked like the real deal doing it. And now he is remembered mostly for the butt fumble and being less than serviceable in NY.
Walking into a good organization, good OC, good offensive roster is huge. There are a few guys like Mahomes, Rodgers, Burrow, that can be pretty good anywhere. The rest need to catch a break to have a good career … especially early on.

Agree 100%! Vince Young was one of the best college football players I have ever watched. Never came close to it in the NFL.
