Ha, he completed my Aidan Hutchinson-Adin Huntington double. Sweet.

McLaughlin should be a lock. Cheap and won’t take up a roster spot this year.

4th is just too early.

Vorhees, Andrew 23/7 He went in the 7th round to Baltimore.

Earliest I would take McLauglin would be end of round 6

Harmon, Femi and Royals is a good top 3 for me tbh

That day 1&2 is pretty much a 100/100 for me.

It’s a GREAT top 3.

If Royals goes at 102 a whole lot of teams are going to look incredibly silly in a couple years. I think he goes 30-50 picks higher than that though.

Day 3 underwhelms me but it’s day 3 so whatever.

I like McLaughlin a lot better at the prospect, but that’s just a difference of evaluation. The main reason Vorhees went so late wasn’t only the torn ACL at the combine. He had an extensive injury history. Knee cartilage surgery, broken ankle that cost him a season, torn ACL in high school, plus the one at the combine.

McLaughlin’s injury is his first major one thus far.

I don’t hate the player but assuming that we should get an injury discount that seems high. I thought he was a tail end of day 2 guy before the injury and really only bc of the dearth of quality options at the pivot.

Depends on where Brad has him rated. If he’s rated a 2nd round pick, anything after 3 is a steal.

Would have been real happy if that West was CJ West

Yep, almost ideal. The only way it’s better is Horton instead of Royals, but I love Royals too. And he can operate in the deeper areas of the field just fine and not cause the short areas to get cluttered the way a true slot would.

I slightly prefer Horton but I think they both are going to be top 3 WRs in a good NFL offense. Horton seems to be a better stylistic fit but Royals would do just fine.

Honestly I probably prefer Horton because I’ve seen him do it against better competition already (that Colorado game was something else). Not to say Royals couldn’t, just that he hasn’t. And his Senior Bowl was just fine, though I would argue it’s not really set up to promote guys like Royals. The jukey guys are always the big winners at WR, and that doesn’t always play in the league (like Eskridge, or Penny Hart).

I’d agree with all of that. And I think he rounds out the room better.

A comment that seems to be flying under the radar around here.

Yeah, I picked up on it right away. Wouldn’t be surprised if we double dipped at WR this draft. You got Reynolds and Kalif on the wrong side of 30 plus an uncertain future for Jamo. Could also be a smokescreen, but it makes sense.
