St. Brown is a two-time first-team All-Pro who has proved to be one of the squad’s hardest workers, which has set the tone in Detroit since his arrival as a fourth-round pick out of USC in 2021. Through the first nine games, St. Brown joined Herman Moore (1995) as the only players in franchise history to record at least 60 receptions and eight receiving touchdowns. He did this all despite undergoing offseason knee surgery. – Eric Woodyard
In my view, it’s Jahmyr Gibbs, not ARSB.
Gibbs has 693 rushing yards & 7 rushing TDs.
ARSB has 693 receiving yards & 8 receiving TDs.
But, Gibbs also has 227 receiving yards & 2 receiving TDs.
I’d agree it’s Gibbs. When the Lions offense is humming, it’s because Gibbs is running wild. Shut down Gibbs, and the offense becomes very pedestrian. Of course things now change with Campbell calling plays, but to this point in time, I think the non-MVP is Gibbs.
Was kinlaw trying to argue he was drawn offsides by clapping? I don’t really understand him getting in Goffs face and clapping like that unless he was being performative trying to get the officials to look for something that wasn’t there in future plays.
To me it’s Glasgow. This guy is again playing out of his best position in order to help the team. He’s not an ideal option but he’s held the line together in a tough season for that group.
Same. I liked his measurables coming out of Iowa, but I didn’t think he’d develop and end up where he’s at now. He’s resembling Luke Kuechly which is pretty darn elite. I’d hoped he’d be good, but he is everything and more than I thought was possible. Dude is a freak show right now; 6’5” 250 can run like the wind and is an enforcer in the run game.
I really think it’s just because he made SUCH a jump, so quickly. He was good last year but then jumped to elite real quick. Reputations dont change that quick so he’s underrated by the masses but certainly not by lions fans. Dude has been ballin
