I am biased so I believe we are the best.
Objectively, I can see some legit arguments, but we are a top tier backfield regardless.
Packers fans have the right to be wrong.

If the question was who had the best duo, or starters, I’d take us over anyone. But the question was who had the best ROOM, and while I’d rank Achane and Mostert behind Gibbs and Monty, they’ve got JWJr as their #3 and he’s proven he can be a starting RB in this league. He’s much better than Netflix. Then they drafted a guy in the 4th this year (and like us, gave up a 3rd next year to do it) in Jaylen Wright. Fastest RB in the class. Their depth is far better than ours.
You can’t look at the RB duo without the offensive line that blocks for them so the combination of O-Line and running backs is the best in the league in my somewhat biased opinion.

I like Atlanta and Seattle’s backfields… They’re not as dynamic as the Lions though. Gibbs can be a McCaffery level player, I can believe how many people I argued with about him in that draft… He was far and away my favorite player in the draft. People didn’t even want him in round 2 
It’s really good. But it all starts with the oline. Jamaal had 1000 yards and close to 20 TD’S running behind it and lets be honest Jamaal is nothing special.
Monty’s yards per carry was 3.9 for his career before joining the Lions. 1st year with the Lions it jumped to 4.6
