Love that they considered expectation in relation to where they were drafted. That makes me care more. When I first saw we came in sixth, I was like…“of course we did, look where we drafted.”
Truthfully, I think this draft class looks even better as it ages. I’m telling you guys, Iffy is gonna surprise most of you. That dude has what it takes. He’s got every single tool, and the way he is carrying himself is fantastic. Great improvement for him!

I didn’t realize the vikings had that bad of a class…perhaps that is part of why Spielman got the boot…i guess it goes to show you, even the good gm’s can have a bad draft class.

He drafted some good talent. Better then the lions did
The most impressive thing to me about his draft is he got the players he wanted. It was also amazing to see everybody seemingly on the same page. This was as much a MCDC draft as it was a Holmes draft. Sewell should have probably been taken one or two in this draft. To get him where we did was insane and they all knew it. Even the Levi pick was very telling that this regime is in it together. Holmes pointing out that McNeil was the only good NT available and pointing out the USC kid and all those guys (talking about WR’s) are still available tells me he’s going to get value out of drafts. Trading up to get both The Sun God and Barnes shows he’ll pull the trigger to get his guys. Then taking Jefferson at the end shows he’s going to stick to his board even if it’s just a late round pick. I’m crazy excited to see what he does with lots of draft capitol.

Same place the Stafford haters are, you know the ones that said he couldn’t win big games . Lol the ones trying to says Goff is his equal.
And Levi was a reach in a poor draft for DTs, there were better players with bigger needs . It’s kinda like Patricia its gonna take awhile for it to sink in for some. You know the guys that thought guys like Diggs and slay were malicants.
Even if Levi fails Holmes still had good draft. Sewell , St. Brown, McNeil all played a a high level and will be permanent starters for the future. With iffy showing alot of promise also. And Barnes with some potential. If he nets 4 starters from that draft it’s a pretty good draft.
And most here loved Quinn and his picks also, it was exactly the same you couldn’t question his moves with out be called not a true fan. All them Patricia lovers and Quinn lovers were just plain wrong. Now they hide and pretend they knew it all along.
I was wrong about Qunntricia from day one. I actually wanted Patricia a year earlier. Then I defended him going into year three because I thought Quinn had finally given him the locker room he wanted. Looking back it’s not hard to see I was wrong every step of the way. As for Levi, I think it’s too early to look back and say he’s a bust or a reach. Sure as Lions fans most of us are always going to look with a pair of Honolulu Blue sunglasses on and say things are great because we truly want them to be, but this team feels nothing like the dumpster fires we’ve had here in the past.

I agree and if I am wrong on Levi I’ll come on here like you and just admit it. We’re all wrong at times. But some don’t want to admit. Kudos to you for being a man.
