Lions sign CB Amik Robertson

2 year, $9.25 million… could be up to $10.75 w/ incentives

I think this guy is probably the NB backup with versatility. I can’t imagine Branch being moved to safety for this guy.

If we are done with cb, our defense will be hopeless next season

Will Harris on sui watch

From what ive seen, Raiders fans love him, seems like hes a good one in terms of character, and solid in play the past two years

okay CB2 they have said, so maybe Sutton Competion?

were not

think we draft one still

I believe the thought was always to move Branch to Safety. From what I read in the past: CJGJ was supposed to be the NB with Kirby and Walker as the starting safeties. Problem was Branch. He was too good to keep on the bench learning both positions.

Horrible brad Holmes does officially suck at FA

My early guess is something like
CB1 - Davis
CB2 - Sutton
NB1 - Branch
CB3 - Moseley (when healthy)
CB3/4/NB2 - Robertson
CB5 - ???

We just went to the NFC championship and should’ve been in the Super Bowl.

While I agree I’d like to see at least 1 big splash, you need to remember that we’re not the Lions of yesteryear.

His PFF numbers are slightly above average:

Seems like a pretty good depth signing, without knowing a bunch about him. With that 5’8" height though, you’d have to think he’s more suited inside.

■■■■■■■ love it! Dude had 14 interceptions in college in just 3 years. Loved him coming out. Our CB position was transformed overnight!

Deep outside and in the slot. There is not a pressing need to draft one now.

It seems that he struggled early on, but when AP came in, he looked better (defense as a whole did) so Improvement is a really good sign, and hes in his prime rn

I like it, it’s solid for sure

also now that i think about it yeah, Vildor gone me thinks

Ehhh

you can never go wrong with having a shit ton of CB’s, espically in the modern NFL
