Some experience with the Jets and Commanders:
The Lions are trying to make it to the offseason finish line with their roster as intact and healthy as possible. Practices have been geared toward the starters getting reps in preparation for the regular season, while the reserves and bubble players have been told they will get a chance to compete in the final preseason game.

Apparently, they are not concerned about WR at all.
First a LB, now a CB.
I think they plan to put their best players on the field and dare other teams to stop them.
