He fills Houston’s role as a 3rd down pass rusher.
How much depends on the size of the deal which is likely rather pedestrian.
I believe his deal was 1 year 10mil last year. I’d guess he is getting half that.
He’s definitely an upgrade over Romeo and Julian Okwara
Hey, just a preview of draft day where Lions fans decend upon downtown Detroit in thr tens of thousands, get all liqoured up and yell for 4.5 hours, to see Brad trade out if Rd 1 at 11:43pm
We’ll see. Vastly different cap.
I am actively rooting for that to happen!
Had multiple suitors and chose Detroit per Garrafollo
I guess we’ll see how it shakes out
Brad loves them injured guys. Not criticizing, just funny to see that pattern continuing to play out. Not a bad bet, low risk and Davenport has a lot of talent.
Depth. Honestly doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who fits our culture but I’m sure DC and AG no him well.
I’m a big fan of Davenport. Low risk high rewards signing if he can stay healthy
That’s the millions dollar question with him. He’s been inconsistent his entire career.
I remember when he came out there were several board members pretty high on him. Personally I thought the Saints over drafted him.
Hopefully we got him cheap on an incentive based contract.
He’ll play as many snaps.
I will be there. Yelling. Liqoured.
Then will come back the next day
Makes sense holmes loves dudes that are hurt.
What he really loves is value. And not getting backed into a corner by a contract. If you’re not already a Lion, you gotta prove you fit like Anzalone and Cominsky did.
Super Bowl bound!
Sofa-r, my Lions brethren seem optimistic and happy with this Davenport signing. I’m certain Brad won’t couch himself for the day. I’m sure he will remain active as he ottoman the phones to find us more talent.
