From 2018-2022, Marcus Davenport has produced a 13% or better pressure rate, the ONLY other player to match that across that timespan is Miles Garrett.
Davenport has a respectable 82.1 run defense rating career.
His problem has been staying on the field. He’s been injured a lot. The talent is legit and all world. This is THE guy I wanted.

It’s the scenario in which you pay 6.5m for 6 quarters that suck. And that can’t be discounted.
Folks, it 6.5 million base. That’s a good deal for us. If he balls out it goes up to 10.5mil…which would be a good deal for a productive DE. This is a good deal for both sides.

Exactly. If he followed that season up with another in 2022, he would have gotten a top of the market deal.
And I’m expecting a safety signing as well just based on how many good safeties are still without a job right now.
