Unless it’s Zeitler I don’t see Holmes bringing in a starting level IOL from outside the organization.
I think they have a lot of belief in Mahogany and trust in Glasgow. They have also invested in developing a lot of IOL in the likes of Niese, Kayode, Muti, Eguakun, and Sorsdal.

His game against Auburn i believe was talked about quite a bit. I wouldnt have minded him bein g drafted but i didnt like trading up for him. Just never saw it.
Id like to see GG move into a backup role.

Lions moved up from later 4th round (pick 122)… to pick #96 to draft Bromart.
The additional picks given up were both 5th rounders 139 and 168).
The 2023 draft has had a few guys in the 5th/6th round hit…
but I also point to the Rams passing on Puka 3 times… in the 5th round alone!!!

Lopez is good insurance if nothing else. Holmes won’t force a pick for a DT just to fill a need. With Lopez on the roster you have another NFL-caliber player to contribute at least until we get Mac back.
