Core special teams type. JRM replacement.
Mr. Irrelevant in 2021.
Cool nod.
Lions do love their ST LBers.
Made one start for Indy last year, made 18 tackles in that game vs. Miami.
lmfao wtf, that’s wild
Out of Houston, right? Was a damn good college LBer.
Oh…really? Research has begun.
Also played some RB in college, like Vaki.
I imagine that he’s an ST demon. He’s fairly Rodrigo like which makes some sense.
With both Roy and Grant we hear the same, “you’d love to have a team of 53 of them”, referring to their mentalities. That is of course no accident.
Perfect depth guys
Interesting that his deal is fully guaranteed, makes him very likely to make the roster.
We usually roll with 6 LBs, two of whom are special teams guys primarily.
Anzalone
Campbell
Barnes
Nowaske / Turner
Pittman (ST)
Stuard (ST)
(Rodrigo will be on IR to start the season)
Looks like the LB corps is fully set. Shep taking care of his old playing and coaching position first and foremost.
And I think they’re both good stand ins for the two guys we have returning from ACLs.
I know Reisman and others have said Roy is purely a NT but I’m not sure we view him that way. More like primarily a NT.
Yeah 0/1 versatility is what I keep hearing from Cards fans, which is great. And why I think he’s basically a 1-for-1 replacement for Peko, but a better, younger player.
I feel confident that he’s a ■■■■ton better than Neimann.
fun highlights….
