He was yeah.
So a depth piece
Iād bring him in as well. Or my guy Max Mitchell who has position versatility. But need to see this Borom contract first. Itās itās not cuttable, the tackle position is probably done until draft day.
Needed depth at Tackle and cheap. Looks good.
Adding both Borom and Mays to the roster, there are still only 8 OL to keep. Thereās room for more.
Bears fans are trashing the move, but Dolphins fans universally like him.
Apparently he was the 9th highest-rated pass blocker of any T who took a majority of their teams snaps. 3.7% pressure rate.
Gonna be a new look OL for sure good call
My guess is that the Lions will be prepared to roll Sewell - Mahogany/Frazier - Mays - Tate - Borom/Frazier with some depth and see how the draft falls for them.
I canāt imagine any big additions to the OL before the draft now.
Itās the kind of add that makes it dead obvious we are going Tackle in the 1st. If we donāt add another.
I guess thatās the silver lining because thatās what I want to do.
Georgia Freeling or Utah Lomu
I donāt think the Lions will ever pigeon-hole themselves into a position in the draft.
Or Miller, Proctor, Iheanachor, Fano.
You could draft 2 new OL and have no problem putting them on the 53.
Thatās the 8 on there now with the guys youāre cutting or putting on PS behind them.
These are his snap counts.
Heās either the best 6th OL in the league, or a very low budget starting RT. I like the idea of one, but not the other.
Want Freeling a whole lot more than Lomu. I like Blake Miller more and he seems like he could be DCs kid.
Iād be super surprised if the Lions carried 10 OL heading into the new year (initial 53) out of camp. Doesnāt seem like thatās what they usually do.
Weāre gonna need to see some secondary help soon, then.
Many Good 1st year starting RTās have come in rounds 2 or 3.
I 100% agree. 100%
But Scruggs isnāt guaranteed anything.
