Perfect. I love the TE room. Even if Laporta isn’t the same or misses time I just don’t see it as a major deal. Teslaa can step into his obvious receiving sets.

I don’t think he’s an upgrade over Brock, or a TE1 but he’s an upgrade over Frisker for TE3.
Also, very useful signing

Can go 2 WR, 2 TE, 1 RB… and be super explosive

Other than oline the offense is pretty much ready to rock. Not many needs other than offensive tackle.

Weirdly enough, Chargers were 32nd in the entire NFL in 12 personnel & he was the 2nd TE. Sounds really weird to think Harbaugh would be dead last in a TE usage category…
That could be some of the context for the “drop off” last season

LA’s OL was killed by injuries last season, like our defense. The hey did well just to make the playoffs.

Based on snap counts looks like he was 3rd or even 4th TE after week 5.
He did not have a good season, apparently.
