Do they still brew Bradors and John Labatts Xtra stock? Those were my “go to” brews when fleeing the border to Windsor. Just happened to be almost 20 when Michigan raised the age to 21.

Back in the university days, I worked as a bouncer part time in downtown Windsor. The bars were completely loaded with 19-20 year old American college kids. They would come from all over the place to come party due to our drinking age being 19. Pretty wild scene it was. Tons of cops, lots of arrests, lots of fights. Oh the days.

Missed you by 2 years, was working downtown starting in 2000. Glad I didn’t throw you out the back door of the bar - It really was 90% americans, especially on the weekends. The Casino, bars and hotels were making a killing.
One night Shaun Rogers walked in the bar I was bouncing at. That is one massive dude. He was dancing up a storm on the dance floor. I never saw him, but Barry was known to hit up downtown Windsor as well.
No bitterness here. I’ve legally drank in Michigan since I was 18…though might have had a criminal alcohol history since about age 14.
