Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown ‘closer to probable’ vs. Buccaneers

From article: “Without St. Brown, the Lions offense didn’t skip a beat. Detroit racked up 377 yards of offense”

A good offensive day would be closer to 500 total yards for a top 5 offense. .

3 short fields after turnovers ending up in 21 points was a big factor in not accumulating more yards. We scored TDs instead of field goals without our best WR. Outside of the 3rd quarter (again) the offense was unstoppable.

Yeah. It’s just that to me, the article makes it sound like 377 total yards is a great day.

I’d be shocked if he didn’t play. Dan said on the radio this morning that it was tough enough keeping him off the field last Sunday.

the good… averaged 5.3 ypc rushing.

the bad… had about 4 drops (of Goff’s 8 incompletions).

It IS a great day - in the context of the short fields. 6 out of their 8 offensive drives ended in the end zone. The fact that they didn’t have to drive the length of the field on three of them doesn’t make the offense any less successful.
