It’s May minicamp so no biggie, just thought I’d post because Branch isn’t on the list. So all the concern about his cast at the draft seems to have been overblown.
Talk about soft. It’s a pajama party out there. We should probably cut most of them
You telling me Moseley couldn’t at least practice in a wheelchair? Is that really too much to ask.
Well it appears we can’t trust our beat writers since apparently Branch SHOULD be on that list.
“Dan Campbell sounding confident about Week 1.”
Here we go…
I read that as the first week of training camp, but I can see now where it might mean week 1 of the regular season. Either way we’re always on the hyper-cautious side of things.
Ragnow, Decker, Mosley, Barns, Reader, all got surgery at some point. So they wont practice till closer to Mid August.
RB no need to wear them out.
Looks like they are giving the LBs a break too.
With how cautious we tend to be with injuries, I’m sure if there’s even the faintest hint that they’re not 100%, we’ll tell them to sit. It’s May minicamp, no reason to take any risks.
Exactly June 6th is mandatory camp.
I assume everyone will practice unless they are injured.
They have already had two days of OTA’s so a few guys may have some soreness or tweaks that keep them out today.
Disappointed that the beat writers won’t get a chance to see TA &
Rake against the ARSB compared to Davis and Amik.
Davenport out injured already…
The vets should all just be coaches at this point of the offseason. The nfl season is long as ■■■■. We played 23 games last year.
Campbell was a favorite of mine and I truly believe he has 10 year of elite level LB’er play potential. The guys is everything you want in a MLB.
If he can take a giant step this year, that unlocks another level of play for this defense.
Do we have James Houston practicing coverage on defense still?
Maybe we can toss DPJ at TE
Levi O might cross train as another RG
Might as well make CJ Moore play both ways to make up for sitting out last season.
He’s predominantly been repping at Strong safety. @socko may need medical attention
Glenn with some love for LB Jack Campbell:
“He’s a man. He’s a grown man. He’s really taken control of this offseason the way he should take control. He’s a true Mike backer.”
There is some news in here. Last year JC played mostly SAM and backed up Barnes periodically at Mike. Look for JC to start the season as the starting Mike with Barnes playing more of a reserve role instead (or leaning more as a SAM).
We have so much young talent on the DLine as well, these guys can take some serious steps forward under his tutelage.
Hutch
Houston
Paschal
Alim
Levi
Brodric
Wingo
These are all players with 3 years or less of experience, the majority drafted on day 1 or 2.
