What they were saying is that on June 12(printed on the vehicle) the Lions new Alt Helmet will be revealed. So we have another day to wait and see.
oh sure but that specific car was chosen I’d assume for a reason. I mean if you wanted any old mustang I’m sure they could’ve found a 65.

But the car is chrome blue and white stripe so maybe something closer to this with the old logo?

I also see the pin stripe and I just figured it would be a modern version of the picture Dbend shared from the 70s.
So silver with the pin strip down the middle with the new logo on the side, is my guess.

The 1971 mustang was released in September 1970. Days before the Detroit Lions took the field with their new Logo.
So it very well could be the 1970s logo on the helmet
boring.
I was expecting a matt silver helmet with a larger version of the new logo offset forward. Like a few other teams modern looks. I like the throwback idea better. I like the jerseys they wore against the packers to end the season personally.
No logo on the helmet. Hopefully they hit a homerun with this one.
