I have no clue. The situation with the conferences is way too complicated and evolving for me to care to follow it.
If it happened would the Big 10 extend an offer? Every other outcome would be a massive financial downgrade for LSU.
Seems like the issue is don’t use state courts to defy us, then expect full membership benefits.
It seems pretty logic that NFL players can’t come back and play football. C’mon. What are we even doing.

I think this is the inevitable school vs. conference power struggle, the issue almost doesn’t matter. The school/conference already defeated the NCAA, now they will be coming for each other.
But I think the schools actually hold the power, though I’m not certain about that. I know they did after the Oklahoma/Georgia case back in the 80s, but they may have ceded some to the conferences to implement the full quashing of the NCAA. I find it hard to fathom a school like LSU would struggle to stay relevant outside of the SEC, but it’s certainly possible.
