I just don’t see it with Manu. I see an impressive built raw player. But he is so Raw and going to be 24 soon. He is not a Raw 21 year old.
He has every technique issue wrong with him. He went from playing D3 player and dominating with pure strength to playing with guys who have the same amount of strength. But with zero technique.
Horrible hand placement horrible footwork. Beat all day. If it was against 1st or 2nd string all day I get it he is raw. But against 3rd and 4th team guys you have to get a win here and there. And he got beat so bad on almost every play. He had zero wins.

This is beyond ridiculous. You’d have a better argument if you complained about Jamo. You have to give him 3 years. You have to give all draft picks 3 years. That’s like the rule. Manu is a project player. Brad went off on people like you… haha

It was known right from the beginning that Manu was a project, so people need to accept that. Secondly, he’s not even half way through his first training camp, how much progress are we expecting to see this quickly?
Then we have guys like Barnes and Melifonwu. First two years of their careers neither of them was worth their draft stock. But then in year three both of them are important players in winning the division and getting to the NFCCG.
This team and this staff develops players. They have a vision about a player, and they show faith and stick with them. The vision for Manu is what he can be in year 3 and year 4, and we need to wait until then before we can call it a wasted draft pick.
