Manu on NFI

He’ll recover at home or on someone else roster.

You heard it first, “Manu to Shitcago”

there are no sports scholarships in Canadian colleges so compition is very low, there are high school teams in the US that would roll over Canadian college teams, Holmes just fell in love with Manu’s athletics score, but I think he has learned his lesson this year draft was solid

Don’t worry, I know some guys…and gals.

Gotta give Manu credit, 3 years on injured reserve is an easy 3.5 million dollars without ever playing football.

Dude is a lot smarter than I thought.

that’s over 5 million in Canadian Dollar, he’s set for life

.

I’m not Deadstroke… but I do know that Manu won’t collect a dime from the Lions while on the NFI.

There is zero reason to do anything with him while on the NFI.

While correct, no money is owed. However TYPICALLY teams dont pay players on NFI for injury unrelated to football. Ie car crash.

but it might be up to him.

Does he want $600k now and get cut and free to sign with anyone when hes healthy.

Or sit on the NFI reserve all year then be a cut mid season

I doubt any other team really wants him. I’d hang onto the Lions as long as possible in his shoes..

.

Do you honestly believe the Lions are going to pay him a dime until he can pass a physical?

If he doesn’t doesn’t recover well enough to pass a physical, the Lions can simply NOT pay him a single dollar.

There is ZERO reason for the Lions to take that chance.

I think they will. They paid Pachal all last year was on NFI/Res.

They asked for Franks money back because he retired late.

They asked for exemptions from Sutton (and soon Arnold) because they had legal issues.

And those were over Millions

I dont see them holding out paying manu ~$418,00 (6weeks worth of pay)

Heck Last year.

Amed Hassanin. Nfi, asked for release with injury settlement of ~$250,000 Got his money. Went home to rehab. Re signed after the season.
