Charlie Weiss spoke on the difference years ago. He said the time committment is similar but the time is allotted differently. He said in the NFL its football all day every day and he could grind away on it and shut out the world. As a college coach you might want to review film at 9pm on a Tuesday night as part of your routine, but you have a player with girlfriend issues to help him work thru and you have a fundraising function that night with wealthy boosters. So you have more to balance than in the NFL.

Poor Stafford? He asked for this, and it was predictable given the terms of the trade and Rams position. It happened faster than anyone thought possible, maybe.
I’m glad Brad appears to be using a different philosophy than Snead. Success TBD, but our strategy is more sustainable, if we can draft well.

Well, he sold off everything for a title. Now he wants to get the heck out of there, because they’re going to have some tough seasons ahead.
