The biggest problem with Nassar and Jerry Sandusky is that people knew that they were creeps and despite all the talk and allegations, no one at MSU or Penn State did a damn thing. They should all be in jail for being accomplices imo…and fuq Joe Patterno, i wouldnt have pissed on that guy if he was on fire.

With the Robert Anderson stuff Michigan can’t exactly claim the high ground here
I think there is, or was, a high degree of permissiveness around big time programs which allowed predators to thrive. Athletes felt that if they reported anything - whether warranted or no - they risked their entire careers. And we can see by the muted responses to allegations at UM, MSU, PSU that nothing was done regardless

I think you are spot on and most UM fans I know don’t claim high ground on these type scandals, But that doesn’t have anything to do with what Parker stated.
I think the responses to each have been different when they were exposed, but your point stands. For too long big time athletic programs have had a different standard for the athletes, and it needs to stop

True, not sure what that has to with the post you were responding too regarding sexual scandals at universities, but yes, they can transfer out, not sit and get paid.

Anyone claiming state was clean and attacking michigan has deleted from memory the smoker and rogers era. It wasnt just a great on field connection was it?
Let’s not be myopic here. Robert Anderson in the same mold as these creeps. If you think MSU sucks for this or Penn state, you should similarly hold UMich in the same regard. It’s ALL awful.
Every place (including both MSU and UofM) has enablers. It’s disgusting.
