I saw an interview with Yaxel the other day and I thought they said he was only 6 foot as a senior in highschool.
Imo Boynton is actually going to be a pretty coach for this team (hence why pretty much all of Dusty’s recruits are staying as of now)…and I’m sure Dusty told his guys that Boynton is for real and can be trusted to keep the standards where they’ve been set, and it didnt hurt to have Cade vouch for him either, as he was his coach at Oky St.
Best case scenario due to the timing of Dusty leaving and Boynton’s ability to keep the class together. If not mistaken, he was one of their best recruiters and involved in most of the HS kids.
Also it’s only two years so he has a chance to prove it with a talented roster and if he fails you move on asap next spring. Plenty of big name coaches would love to coach UM. Resources galore.
