Here we go again. I wouldn’t be surprised if moore is suspended for 3 games and thats it.
I think they wanted Jim. If the Wolverines can convince them that they’ll shape up now, the punishments could be pretty light IMO.
Oh so its only because of Jimbo?
Of course.
That’s what I was thinking
Every school violates rules
F em! Go Blue!
I’d add it’s also funny how some people read an article. For people who follow politics is easy to spot it, for those who don’t maybe it’s not as easy.
It appears you are now on stage three.
Only two more stages to go! You’re almost there!!
(This is supposed to be a joke. Don’t take it seriously.)
The only thing I find interesting about any of this is how Sherrone Moore and Michigan will respond. It’s one of the questions I had with the Sherrone Moore hire. What sort of clout does he have? Jim Harbaugh has a larger than life presence in Ann Arbor, which allowed him to push the university on some of these issues. We don’t know how Michigan responds with Moore. That will be interesting to see, and will be very telling about Moore’s future ability to build/defend the program.
Sherrone Moore is a good football coach, but there’s a lot of politics involved in running a program. He knows this, but he will find out how much at a whole different level.
This whole thing is stupid. Moore deleted messages, that were immediately restored and shown to investigators when asked. Those messages clearly were not incriminating in any way because 1) the NCAA states they have no evidence Michigan knew of Stallion’s activities and 2) ESPN would damn sure lead with that front and center.
So, what do they do? Use a misleading headline to get you to click, lol. Basically, they’re mad Moore deleted texts and even more mad when the texts weren’t incriminating because now they look really, really stupid. Is there some sort of NCAA rule that states someone can’t delete texts from a personal cell? This is SO stupid.
Is it stupid because its uofm?
This. It’s pretty obvious reading the article.
That’s why Moore is looking at a level 2 violation. They didn’t write about the content of the texts being the issue, it was deleting them they have issue with. Harbaugh’s level 1 violation can be summed up as this…they don’t like him not bending the knee. They wanted unlimited access to his personal phone. Mars commented on this at the time. Imagine your employer demanding access to your personal phone. Every time he fights back they want to hit him with a level 1. Sure
The rest is some pretty routine violations, which I’m sure they stumbled across since they had access to the entire program. They nailed them for buying a meal again and handing out swag. If this is the best they could come up with considering the amount of access they had, I’d call that a win. How about the SEC open up the books next?
Did you read the article or anything else I said? There’s no NCAA rule against deleting texts, especially from a personal phone. I’d venture to say every coach ever deletes texts. If there was something nefarious, he wouldn’t have offered the texts up to investigators without a problem.
It’s stupid because it’s stupid. If you can coherently argue otherwise(you can’t), feel free. They’re mad he… deleted texts that aren’t incriminating, lmao.
I did. He deleted the same day edvindence came out. Why delete if there is nothing to hide. You guys got caught. Like i said it will probably 3 games for moore and probably nothing more. Its not just moore its 5 other coaches as well.
The content of the texts was not mentioned in the allegations. No new news was broken in this article. Just more of the same.
