Hate to see a hometown guy lose his job after 25 years in the industry. He seemed to do a pretty good job and was personable. I remember being in Vinsetta Garage about a dozen years ago and Mickey, Rod, and Mario all came in to have lunch together. Now they’re all gone. Such is the ever increasing pace of life these days. Meh. I don’t like it that York unceremoniously lost his job (they could have at least have given him a Keating like send off), but the person behind the post game desk just has to be a talking head with an elementary grasp of whatever sport they are covering. Natalie Kerwin more than satisfies that, and frankly, is easier on the ole’ peepers.
