Midseason trade results

Every team has injuries. No excuses :flexed_biceps:

Eagles are 2-3 since

NFC East looks like a disaster again this year

Hurts was dog shit he had what 5 turnovers. Def wasn’t the issue last night

So Howie better had put this 3rd pick on a decent backup QB.

That would be dumb. Phillips actually had a decent game yesterday. Just saying def wasn’t the issue at all 22 points and thats going through ot and without carter.

So why did Howie improve the defense if the offense is the problem?

What did you want them to improve on with offense?

I think the real problem is you don’t even understand the game, your judging Phillips on sacks only, if you don’t understand how he helps the eagles, well that just part of your lack of knowing. Parson transformed the packers in probably division champs while we’re back here fishing around in 3rd.

We’re in the shape we are , solely because Brad overvalued his Draft pics, Brad choose his path, and it was good for 3 in the division. Every team in our division got better while we drop from champs to 3rd.

Waiting around every year for Holmes draft pics to develop, isn’t going to get us there.

Always a positive way to start a constructive post, by insulting someone’s football intelligence.

Anyway, I think the point that many are trying to make on here is that Howie isn’t some guru that everybody needs to be worshipping because of his bold moves. Last time I checked, the Eagles are going to win the NFC East despite of themselves, not because of all the amazing trades and draft picks he has made in the last year.

Also, the Vikings did not get better by any metric of the word this year.

Lots of factors aswell

Other teams got better, we were due for regression regardless (no way in hell we were gonna go 15-2 again), Injuries, Ragnow retiring, Brain Drain etc.

Honestly, I think its fair to say that the team is playing around the level it should be given what happend this offseason, its a good team that is fighting for a playoff spot and the division, but is def a tier down compared to last year. Injuries once again zapping at the team, the Branch one being a major one.

Wont disagree that Brad needs to change a bit, i think he does this offseason, need more immediate talent and starting players then long term future atm, gotta a couple drafts of those, and we need actual depth now.

Is that what he is doing ?

The problem with this statement, is people swore we had a improved roster , and we’re going to be fine. Now that the games are being played, it well we knew it all the time. Just plan bullshit.

I think anyone who said were improved going into this season was taking crazy pills if im being honest

I think i said that we would likely end the season about 12-5 or 11-6(in that range) and it seems to be right on the money within those expectations.

Think Fans ate too much of the teams own gas and farts, got high off of last years supply

why there is alot of bitching this year, even though the Ravens and Chiefs had arguably worse regressions, and even the Eagles look like they are a first round exit again.

Fortunes change fast in this league, I trust Brad and Dan to keep the team afloat and competitive, but it will likely have to take them to change their philosophy a bit this offseason

They have losing record with him. Man who said Jahmyr Gibbs was just a scat back is telling someone they don’t understand football?

Lol come on dude ,that’s good you have to go back that far Lol, but I own that didn’t saying anything about scat back I said 3rd down back and was wrong. You had to dig pretty deep on that one.

But sense your puffing your chest out, why don’t you go back and read what I said back in May& June about this team because most everything I said happen just the way I said. Then check out what you said before season and how close you were.

I think over 90% of the people on this forum were predicting 11-6 or 12-5 with the brutal schedule, the loss of Frank, and the loss of both coordinators.

There may have been a few people that predicted 13-4 or even 14-3…. but I don’t recall anyone truly posting a prediction of 15-2 or better.

How many teams repeat a 15 win season? I mean, it’s pretty easy to be on the other side of that argument.

I don’t think the record with win and loses is the issue, it how we would be making a Superbowl push and be division champs was such a guarantee. That’s what I read all over.

We are in a division that had two other playoff teams last year. One of those teams won 14 games and the other won 11 games. In fact, I believe it was the most wins any 4 team division has ever had. I don’t think anyone expected a cakewalk this year. Didn’t know it was a crime to be positive. So we may not win the division this year, but there’s been worse teams than us to win the Super Bowl. We are certainly not out of it by a longshot.

Who cares about the record ? It not about rather you are 15-2 or 12-5, the statements made were that we were pushing for a Superbowl and top of our division. Witch neither is happening, we still have a shot to get in, but it’s not the Guarantee that was protray, hell if people mentioned the bears most of you laughed at the notion. Trying to center this around a wins and lose record is not telling the true story.
