Beat me to it!
I heard he had a Minecraft world with his kid. I was expecting a few small builds. But this?!?!?!?! Absolutely insane!
The details and the reasoning behind everything

2026 is so weird.
Gamers… ASSEMBLE! ![]()
I am sure a lot of those views were Steeler fans, wanting to know what Tomlin was really working on while the team was going 9-8 annually.
I don’t really understand Minecraft. Like he spent 12 years building a fake city? What is the strategy aspect of it? Like is he trying to win something?
Pardon my ignorance, I don’t know anything about it.
I think people fail to realize how MASSIVE gaming is.
Twitch gets 25+ million views DAILY.
Minecraft has sold 425+m copies. With an estimated 300+m unique users.
Minecraft alone averages 50,000 LIVE viewers 24/7. Peaking over 100,000 during major events.
Most gaming tournaments easily hit 10m views LIVE. Let alone the replay getting 20+m more.
If ESPN had a ESports channel. It would do NUMBERS.
My ten year old plays Minecraft and watches Minecraft YouTubers so I’m aware. The NFL is huge as well of course.
Also, a regionally televised game and a stream available to the world are pretty different.
Just fun. Just creating something from nothing. Thats the fun. Its like having unlimited legos.
Thats what most people on Minecraft do.
Only 50% of the 400+m people have played the “survival” mode of Minecraft. Less than 12% of players have played a decent enough amount to get some achievements.
Almost everyone plays creative and just likes creating anything that their mind comes up with
Interesting. Legos was pretty fun when I was 10. ![]()
That’s wild!
When I posted the video this morning it had 21k views. An hour later it had 150k. Minecraft is a huge community in gaming.
I played creative in survival mode.
@stephenboyd57, imagine a sandbox where monsters are trying to kill you at night. It’s kind of like an RPG – you go out into the world to collect resources to make yourself more competent, with better armor and better weapons and better tools for harvesting more resources.
Build a villager economy to accelerate your development. Construct a castle over a lake of lava just for the hell of it. Devise a factory that automatically kills monsters when they spawn so you can collect their drops. Travel to a different dimension and kill the dragon.
I stopped last winter when my 360-foot treehouse base got struck by lightning and burned down, killing my two cats.
What game is this ?

Yawn, let me know when he builds something like that in survival.
Those are big numbers.
However, they’re all gamers. And I think we all know that gamers are ugly nerds without souls, so they don’t really count.
