Mister Illegal Procedure Getting Cut

“While Taylor was a productive pass blocker, he struggled with penalties, committing 49 (41 accepted) in 45 games with the Chiefs, the most of any lineman during that span.”

Which was about 10% of the actual penalties he committed.

I’m sure he is nice to kids and puppies, but man I was constantly annoyed by the free pass he got.

He’d make good depth. He can play. Just doesn’t have discipline while in his stance. But in an emergency, would be vital.

The diehard Chiefs fans, the one who really know their business, say he was quietly excellent for them this year. I expect the league to know that as well, and I expect the contract he gets will make most fans ridicule the team signing him. Before Decker came back, I was hoping we might have been in that mix honestly, though he probably ends up being too expensive.

He would get called for 5 times the penalties if he played for us.

Dude was always a closet Packer. Which when I say out loud sounds much worse…

He was just called for one against lions simply because we started this topic.

But, he’s going to want starter pay, and, he will be an upgrade for some teams Oline.

Not ours, though. He’s incapable of fixing his “false start/off sides” problem, and, he’s going to get called for a ton of holding penalties on any other team, too.

Back in play for us perhaps.

2 less penalties than Darnell Wright and Elemeunor last year and the same as Dion Dawkins and Zeus Jr.

Same penalty yardage as Brian Branch.

In 2025 it really wasn’t a big deal. In 2023 it was.
