I was reading the metrics on that ball, and based on the launch angle and exit speed, there was like a 0.0013% chance it would result in a home run. Not impossible, but statistically close enough to zero chance as possible w/o being zero.

They had a guy on 1st down 1 run. Might have been a 2 run homer and put them in the lead. Instead the ball hit the roof and was caught. Brewers win. Hard to say if it goes out or not. Tough way to lose though.

Tatis had a rough 1st half but he was sensational post all star break. Been very clutch in the playoffs in the past too.

I wonder if they would consider trading Henderson? The Cardinals could use him at 3B. I’m hoping the Cardinals will pursue Sato from Japan but Henderson would be one I would pursue as a fall back buy low option.
I thought the O’s were going to use him at 3rd. He’s a great SS, just has off weeks.

He got ahead on Chourio… tried to get him to chase a low slider, and them threw a fastball too low on the outer half of the plate.
The announcer and I were thinking the same.. high heat was the pitch to make… several times if needed.

They just play the game the right way. Smart, fundamental baseball. You will hardly ever see them make a mistake at the wrong time.

Last two years Dodgers bring back Snell for last 10 games in the regular season and then start him in the playoffs. Pretty good job for a guy making 36m a year.
