Mock Simulators 2026

I think it is very likely that Reese would be the only player from that draft who would make the roster.

I like Curry & TCU LB

I’m not saying they are not good value for where they are being selected. I like Anthony as a 7th round pick. But unless these guys can get injured during camp their chance at making the 53 man roster is not likely.

That true of most late day 3 guys though, whether it be on deep rosters ready to win now or bad teams with plenty of openings.

Also go vote on our 4th rounder!

I think the picks would be better used in a package to move up and get a better player in the first 4 rounds. I love draft picks as much as anyone but those picks can also be flipped for players at risk of being cut by other teams.

Yes I’m all for trading up this draft .

There’s also the theory of quantity over quality like the Rams did for a couple of years when they were rebuilding on the fly between 2022 and 2024, and they knocked a lot of those later picks out of the park. Throw a lot of bodies in, battle royale, may the best man win.

Also very true. Good point.

But we have 3 ….late 6/7 round picks

Those guys can be the battle royal guys.

Between those 2 4s and 2 5s

We gotta find some bonafide contributors.

I might be completely wrong but I don’t see the depth in this draft that I see in other years. I think we can make better use of those late round picks.

I don’t disagree at all, this class sucks. For me the “day 2” tier ends around pick 65, so if we’re trading up to grab the last of those guys I’m OK with that.

But once we hit that range I suspect the hit rate - both ours and the teams themselves - is only slightly better than a guess. I have always advocated for quantity over quality once we get past the 2nd most years for that very reason, even if it means you are regularly drafting guys who don’t stick on the roster.

I think Brad has set a floor in free agency everywhere. Like Safety the floor has been set with guys like Harper and Izien. A player coming in is going to have to be a pretty good player to unseat one of these guys. We have these guys at every position on the roster. Granted they are not stars but they set a floor in the room.

Agreed and I am actually quite fond of that. It’s largely the way I would use FA too.

OK this one is a pretty good fix for this year and next year, well…

I like a lot of the guys you took
Especially Zuhn day 3

Seems like he could win the starting RT job? I see they have him as a center tho…

He’s the best OL swing man in the draft, can play anywhere but yes they expect him to be drafted as a C.

50 starts in the SEC

Good looking prospect

In the end I don’t think anyone is drafting him to BE a starter but a day 3 guy with his versatility is going to get his chances.

I think he has legit starting upside inside, and I could see someone drafting him early enough that they’re expecting him to start. I agree that he might take his lumps for a bit due to the change, but he’s supposed to be a pretty smart guy. Might hit the ground running despite the change, like Barton did.

That has to be one of the better thought out drafts I have seen yet. If we could replace Iheanachor for Lomu I would give it 5 stars.
