Hereās another oneā¦āhe had few attempts in college so of course his % is high.ā Followed by stating his air yards per completion in the NFL with 10 career starts (which he won 6 of those btw).
Iām going to bow out on this one. Your mind was made up about JJ before he ever took a snap in the NFL. He has the traits you want as an NFL QB. But he was as far away as ready as a legit prospect can be. I donāt think anyone should be surprised he struggled to perform being throw into the fire following a lost season to injury.

I would take JJ over Dobbs or Altmeyer. Thatās about it though.

He tends to stick to his narrativeā¦even if he contradicts himself. He said all of JJās games in the pros he completed less than 60%..mind you he said every single one. Well that is simply not true as JJ had like 4 straight games of 60% or better and probably had like 5 such games overall. Iāve come to the understanding that there are fans, but then there are SUPER FANS or FANATICS. I know the word fan derives from fanatics, but to me you can be a fan of something and not a total fanatic.

How many interceptions does Herbert have to toss before Harbaugh kicks the tires on McCarthy? Jimbo loves his former college players, and he could probably get a disgruntled on the bench McCarthy fairly cheap. Especially if Murray is playing well for the Vikings.
I wouldnāt be surprised if Harbaugh was interested in acquiring JJā¦ But not bc of Herbertās play, heās safe and a top 10 QB in the league

i still can not blame Herbert for LAC struggles.
Last 4 years.
Hes had 1 year where his OLINE was top 15 pass blocking. Other 3 were bottom 10.
And all 4 years they were bottom 5 in run blocking,
Like his Oline isnt just bad, itās HORRIBLE.

I feel we downgraded at backup QB. We know the Lions can be real jerks with what they consider bottom of the roster guys. Hopefully losing Kyle wasnāt over peanuts.

Pretty sure Kyle Allen wanted to go back to Buffaloā¦ He only signed for a few hundred grand more per year than the Lions paid Bridgewater. I guess he and Josh Allen are good friends

Herbert is a franchise QB who isnāt going anywhere. Heās the reason Harbaugh took that job.
If he brings in JJ at some point it isnāt to compete with Justin for the job.

If I could pick any position on the team to downgrade, it would be backup QB. Especially if we are talking about a downgrade from Kyle Allen.
Kyle Allen is the kind of backup teams sign when they have a bonafide starter. Heās little more than bottom of the barrel. Honestly, Dobbs is probably better. Even though Iām rooting for Altmyer to beat him out.

I liked Kyle Allen. Dobbs Iām not a fan especially on this offense based on precision and timing.
