I posted as much, however a search said there was no verifiable indication Goff was punched.

Don’t know if I would classify it as a punch, but Redmund (#61) definitely shoved Goff’s head back during the scuffle.

There was a punch thrown. I cannot tell who threw it or who it landed on (if anyone). Initially I also thought it was at Goff.

Goff definitely took a hard shot to the face, but he still had his helmet on fortunately. Then when he went after the punk bitch that hit him Mahogs did his job and picked up the franchise QB and moved him away from the scrum.

I wouldn’t call it a “punch” as it was open handed.

I think Goff got a little over excited and probably said something as he was the one that forced his way into the pile.The Vikings player, #97 Orange reacted.

Don’t know what caused Goffs head to move rapidly backward a foot, but, I’d be comfortable calling it a punch.

Yes, that was Skipper. I wasn’t positive until he turned around.

We don’t give the refs much praise around here because (17 hour clip reel). I appreciate that they let the clock keep running instead of throwing flags and making everyone line up for another snap. Let the league deal with it later.

Goff just said on his weekly 97.1 interview that he did, indeed, get punched in the face.
