My Computer Rankings NCAAF. Shows massive SEC Bias

So ive been doing this a few years now. A computer ranking system for the FBS.
Just to better showcase who REALLY deserves to be in the CFP.

And i know the committee ranks certain teams higher to build hype HOWEVER.

There is some funny business with the SEC

According to my calculations.
Tennessee 11 spots higher
And Mizzu 15 spots higher is a bit outrageous

Everyone else is with a few spots (N texas is high because they are the last team in the CFP because GO5 or they would be around that mark)

My calculations even have a Bias towards SEC/ Big10 schools as well as the BIG names from the Acc & B12 (Clemson, Miami, TCU)
And the CFP still has them higher.

Im not saying we need to go to a full blown point system but at least have it be a factor

While I know it will never happen they need to stop the polls until week 6 or 7.
But, TV money drives it and ESPN has a big share of the influence moreso than Fox(B1G) imo. So it won’t stop.

SEC gets the preseason benefit which helps set up the end of season rankings. The SEC going to a 9 game schedule will help some of this, yet, my god the SEC is so tough to get through messaging will dominate ESPN network which drives a lot of this.

Good win for UT. However.
That loss to Florida HURTS.
They shouldn’t be in the CFP for that bad loss alone

They probably won’t be. But if you are going by the best team right now in late November. They might be it

That’s my beef with college football. Losing early shouldn’t matter so much

So the National Champion gets watered down
