I wouldn’t trade Hutch for Garrett even if it was a straight swap. Obviously Garrett is the better played, but Hutch is 5 years younger.
I guarantee the fact that they’re getting a young edge back was a key to it being LA instead of say, Philly. So, would you have given up Hutch to get the deal done?
This doesn’t affect the Lions until the NGFCG… They play the Packers this year, and a bunch of contending NFC teams… Good
The rumor was that Cleveland was pushing for Verse AND Chorus to be included but LA held firm.
Rams have very little time left with Stafford at the helm. It’s now or never for them. We still have a good 5-6 years of being able to exploit Goff.
“And more” according to the tweet. That could be damn near anything.
Rams are in it to win it. Stafford has used up his cat lives.
No, I wouldn’t.
We’ll see how good this trade looks next off-season after the Rams don’t win the Superbowl. I remember when the Colts won the Superbowl at the trade deadline last year.
Smiling like crazy right now.
Assuming you have time in pro sports is exactly how not to win a championship.
I hated the Gardner trade for the Colts last year, and there is proof of me saying as much on this board. That trade was always stupid for them. Going all-in around Daniel Jones was just dumb, even if he stayed healthy.
This trade is a massive massive win for the Rams.
That’s actually a hell of a return for Cleveland for an aging player who wasn’t taking them anywhere anyway.
This is true. Stafford could get shellacked in Week 2, and the Rams will have forfeited their future for nothing.
It’s only a win if they win the Superbowl. If they don’t it was a complete and utter failure. This is how we judge all moves and non-moves on this forum.
Wow.
Hard to see the downside of this for LA, as much as I’d like to. Not going to hand them the Lombardi yet, but this is going to make them a very tough out for anybody.
I never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever want to hear shit about the limitations of our salary cap again.
Must be ■■■■■■■ nice
We’re good
So if the Browns are in a dealing mood, how much would it take to get Verse from them? We would have to agree to take either Sanders or Gabriel too?
They’re not dealing Verse.
