Goff’s the starter, Hooker is developmental . . . need a vet. I’m sure BJ and JG like Sudfeld in the QB room.
Knows the system which can be a big help bringing hooker along. My guess is he is on the PS most of the year.

On a serious note… he will get cut and then signed to the practice squad. If God forbid something happened to Goff… Hooker starts and Sudafed at least knows the system and would be activated.

Did they not just pass a rule that allows unlimited PS elevations for the emergency QB? That’s Sudfeld’s role for this season.
If we got him, they would change his name from Justin Fields…to Justin Case.

Not a huge fan of Sudfeld but he’s a good player to help bring Hooker around. He is probably a good voice in the QB room too. I just hope he doesn’t ever have to start
