They get 21 (guard) Robinson, Stewart. It would have to be one of those stupid things that only happens after the draft.

I also know Iām biased but Philon is the perfect fit for scoring we need off the bench. Iāve known heād be a fantasic fit on this team for over a year now. He can handle the ball, shoot, facilitate, score on or off the ballā¦everything we need.

how much would you give up for Philon to become Yaxel? I love Philon too, but Yaxel would be a home run.
That entirely depends on who weāre targeting to get in a trade to be Cadeās #2 option.
I wouldnāt want Yaxel if we got MPJ or Lauri or another PF. We can easily bring back Tobias to come off the bench.
If we go get a guard like Herro or TMIII then Iād consider giving up more, especially because that bench combo guard we need is available in free agency (White, Sexton).

To add on to this, letting Tobiasā bird rights and cap space just expire has always felt like asset mismanagement to me. He needs to be on this team one way or another next season.
Philon fills the bench combo guard role that I would originally have for a Coby White or Collin Sexton. I saw Ayo is going back to Minnesota on a 5 year deal which pisses me off. I also think Philon has starter potential down the road, but Iād like to get a starting SG in a trade who ideally would be here for a little while.

I wonder if all the want for Yaxel has to do with him playing for Michigan. He just seems like an ok at everything but doesnāt excel at anything guy that is also already 23, I certainly wouldnāt trade up for him. If he dropped to 21 Iād be ok with it but I wouldnāt be thrilled.

Why not Cody white. He seems to be the best robin option. Herro and Powell will be more like a Alfred
Coby White is not a #2 option on a championship team in 2026. Sorry. He needs to be way better for that.
Coby White could and should come off the bench on this team if we sign him with the MLE.
