It rewards shitty teams to have a chance to win a championship. It’s stupid. But money over everything. I’m not surprised at all.
Why even play a regular season if 76 teams make the playoffs? Ridiculous. Zero stars

Thats my point. I could see if there was a legit case that the 70th+ best team is a GOOD team that’s entertaining to watch and deserves a shot. But they dont.

Those arnt entertaining. Arnt worth watching. And most brackets dont even include the play in games.
This just diminishes the regular season and conference tournament games completely

I saw the other day both the Tigers and Blue Jays, 2 teams I follow that both suck are barely out of a wild card spot. Just gets silly letting losing teams into the playoffs
