We hire a Fox announcer to be our GM and make him the highest paid GM in the league. But that’s not the worst part, after going 16-48 in his first 4 years as GM, we thought that was worth a 5 year extension.

Ehhhhhh Marilyn Manson (Canton Ohio’s own Brian Hugh Warner ) was 14 in 1983, and has always been more interested in just disturbing people, rather than actually gender bending. He’s always been a very straight dude with a very long history of abusing his female partners*.
He’s really just a mysoginist asshole who likes makeup rather than any trans icon.
- Boy George is also a pretty bad person, convicted of false imprisonment for handcuffing escort/model to a pipe in hs apartment and beating him with a chain, but at least he actually was committed to subverting gender norms rather than just being a creep.

Lol spot on about Marilyn Manson. The real talent in that band was always John 5 anyway, from gross pointe, MI!
If I recall correctly I think he left the band because Manson was such a creep. But I could be wrong about that…

I think he had good intentions when he hired Millen, and of course he met him and thought he was a great guy, which I’m sure he is… it was that damn loyalty he had. I do think WCF wanted to win, at least toward the end… he just didn’t know how and didn’t have the right people around him.
I believe bill ford jr. Was in his ear at the time and was the one advocating to hire Millen. Kinda glad he got relegated to the car company by his mom…
