Excellent episode, I think it’s awesome the Lions had Paschal tell his story. It’s a pretty emotional episode. We’ve talked a little bit about if it’s possible his cancer coming back is why he was put on the NFI list and why the Lions haven’t talked about it. Seeing the condition his foot was left in post surgeries, and how he didnt have feeling in half his foot, I didn’t even think about that. This guy has been through it. I hope he can come back and continue to play football for us, but his story shows what kind of a person he is. The world needs Josh Paschal’s.

I think it’s easy for us to forget the person under the jersey sometimes. Real people with real issues beyond just football. This was such a good look into Josh’s story and who he is as a person. Wish nothing for the best for this guy.

I’m glad they did this. We hear about the diagnosis and know that it obviously came with its challenges, but I don’t know if any of us (I didn’t) think about having his foot carved up like a new husband’s turkey.
There’s also an obvious difference between him physically as a freshman compared to his return in 2018.

It was good to hear Justin Rogers on one of the podcasts this week confirm that his latest injury/unavailability is not cancer related.

Yea that was the Lions Collective with Colton Pouncy and two others as well, Will something.
The other interesting tidbit from that podcast was Rogers saying he did a deep dive on every David Montgomery run this season to see what was going on.
He said that on every run someone blew an assignment; interior OL, the tackles both of them, St Brown or another WR missing a block, a TE missing a block. Occasional DMo picking the wrong opening to run into but mainly based on someone missing an assignment. He mentioned he was writing an article on it this week with his results.

Man that was awesome. Had no clue what he had been through. Seeing his foot was eye opening. Will always be a fan of JP.

The Lions have been tight lipped on the Pascal injury situation until this came out which was him telling it. Wish all the best to him.
