Yeah but that doesn’t really tell the story, go look at his stats in Man coverage. Tampa was playing more zone from my understanding and was part of why he had a drop off, Holmes wanted someone strong in man and that what Davis is.
Same thing with the other CB Amick, people are judging him from the slot but if you read he got tons better when McDaniels moved him outside were he thrived he is physical in man. Holmes got him to play outside not the slot. I Even read were if something happen to Branch Sutton would move inside and Amick would play outside. Witch all makes sense.
Call me old fashioned, but I prefer players who let their body of work do the talking for them and keep it vanilla in front of the microphone.
