when I have something to post AND it doesn’t have to do with football----I try like hang to put it in “off-topic” to then separate the threads. -as to what other posters have posted? %$#@ I can hardly remember what day or date it is or if I took my medication on a given day…at 52 years old. I feel like I’m 67 jeebus.
I would star wars to end by killing of Luke Skywalker. Or did they do that yet? Shit is turning into Harry potter.

The issue is Star Wars is bigger and cooler than the Skywalker family, but we keep getting the same lame time period over and over
Plot lines have been horrible. Casting poor. Storyline entirely not engaging or gritty.
As others said, exception made for Andor, Rogue One, and beginning of Mandalorian. Maybe small parts of Obi Wan.
Soooooooo much potential. Wasted so far. It’s like this phase of Marvel.
I will add that a Chewbacca series would have been so easy to do. It’s just a costume so easy to make and he’s super old so it can cross eras. And any guy can make those wookie sounds.
And a proper Rebels movie would have been great.
Well idk that. Last time I watched star wars was like early 2000s. Its a gimmick at this point. Plus selling it to Disney is a selling out, just like marvel
I think the smart move would be to start fresh. New stores and characters but not unfamiliar ones. If I were in charge I’d restart the franchise in the old republic. Start with the mandalorian wars. Introduce Revan and Malik and follow their rise and fall.

My biggest beef with the series and the movie is that Grogu is “nerfed” too much. He’s a badass force-user that has Jedi training, and he would whip anyone’s ass that he’s ever faced. They present him as a helpless child, when it fits their narrative, and the next thing you know, he’s saving everyone from an exploding mountain, essentially.

There is so much to pull from in Star Wars and we keep getting the same boring shit when it comes to TV and Film.

:"Star Wars and Harry Potter are VASTLY different , and they both breathe a breath of life as long as they keep making new films about each one. that said, both have big storylines, great characters, great roles, creatures, drama, action, suspense, and pull at our heart-strings. people either like each show, or they find fault with them-BUT that doesn’t take away from how Grand they have became.
Mark Hamil didn’t die yet, he’s 74-however there was a hoax going around of his death for some time.

I’m just tired of the same old, same old. We have seen these Superhero and sci-fi movies 50 times. Make something unique and interesting. Haven’t seen a creative movie in years. Now maybe I need better suggestions. My inbox is always open for new good movie suggestions.

Exactly! There are hundreds of books and stories to draw from. You could even have a satele Shan series if you want a female lead. Follow her from apprentice to Jedi master. This shouldn’t be this difficult to make new movies with new material.
