Because we are seemingly having such an historic season, I thought it might be interesting to keep a log of all of the weird, and sometimes legit, records our Detroit Lions have tied or broken. Might be kind of cool to look back on during the off-season. I don’t want to take up all of them all so I will just post this one and let you guys add as you see fit. Enjoy it ya screwballs.
A lot of cool ones listed in this article too.

My favorite is
St Brown, Gibbs and Monty have 8 games where all 3 have a TD in a span of 2 seasons
Only trio EVER to do that!
shouldn’t this be in the fire AG thread?
I like the idea, since it seems like every week the team or player(s) are breaking/setting a new one. Would Nate (or Mods) think it would be worth pinning a list at the top for the remainder of the season, so we don’t have to go digging and/or starting new threads every week?
Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery are the first tandem in history to each have over 800 scrimmage yards and nine or more touchdowns through the first 10 games in a season.
Team records - 645 yards (after kneel downs) and 38 first downs. Crazy.
We are the only team in NFL history to go 9-1 in a blue uniform exactly two days after a super moon.
See fellas, this is the kind of insight I’m looking for. Bring the heat.
It’s a lot more fun reading than the records we used to set.
Like first team to go 19-1 in a season. Would offset that other dubious season record first that we own.
Not a team stat, but I still love the way it’s stated:
“Goff finished 24-of-29 passing for 412 yards with four touchdowns, no interceptions and a perfect 158.3 passer rating. He’s now the only quarterback in NFL history to have multiple games with 400-plus passing yards and a 158.3 passer rating. Just him. That’s the list.“
