Sitting fans on his chair was his important agenda . Again I am talking about no mention in the introduction, it doesn’t matter if he mentioned later
Healthcare workers were given VIP passes to the event. They are sitting front and center in the draft. Alot of the people who are getting on stage and sitting in the commishes chair while their team drafts are Healthcare workers and educators.

Goodell thanked the health care workers at the start of today (Day 3). I don’t know about the rest of the days.
I don’t remember mentioning any words on day one other than commissioner coming with three Cleveland players like entering in WWE
It’s rare to see someone upset that someone’s actions were stronger than their words

It’s not a cheap shot , I don’t belong to any political party , we all know that the most valuable people since COVID are health workers and a mention about them in the introduction was appropriate
I am a HCW and a first responder. In the thick of it. Not offended. I just want to watch some football. It means way more to me coming from a patient or family member. He would just be checking a box on his day.
I would trade the thanks for them to not bypass talking about our picks every year.

Barely a mention of COVID was a breath of fresh air.
The 2021 NFL draft was amazing. Thursday nights 1st round was watched by more people than the Academy Awards (which was full of COVID talk & political statements).
Goodell is the leader showing others how to do things. Get your shots and you get to be part of our event. You might even get to go up on stage and interact with NFL greats.
