The play they’re talking about wasn’t offensive PI, it was within 1 yard of the LOS. There was an awful missed call though… On KC’s interception, the DB blows up the receiver 5 yards down field and another DB steps up and picks it off. Blatant no call… I’d be furious

In the October 6, 2025, game, the Kansas City Chiefs had
13 penalties for 109 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars committed only 4 penalties for 25 yards in the same game, which the Chiefs lost 31-28,
Maybe the ref crew didn’t like getting bullied by Mahomes to make his call he wanted in the 1st qtr

Early in the game it looked real bad as they gave KC a TD (picked up flag… was a 50-50 call) then took away a TD from JAX on a 50-50 call.
But then they gave Jax a PI penalty on 3rd and long so they could stay in the game.
Gotta give it up to JAX tho, they showed a lot of GRIT with a pick 6 on the goal line 2nd half and then the game winning drive

The Eagles definitely got screwed in their game too. Not that I’m complaining. At the end of the game, there should’ve been a pass interference, which would’ve given the Eagles first and goal at around the 5 yard line. Just a lot of bad officiating these days. Inconsistent.

That’s just it they call it once on a 3 yard gain. And then don’t call every time KC has a big play. It’s a giant pile of bullshit. This is basic peewee football stuff lining up properly.

They did do their best to give the chiefs a 14-0 lead which many teams can’t climb back from
I mean, it was a great play by Bolton that kept the Jags out of the end zone their first drive. I thought the 14 point lead was well earned. Yes, that overturned PI call was shady looking, but we’re talking a difference of inches. It was very, very close to the one-yard limit, and if they hadn’t thrown the flag no one would have said anything. To me that’s in the bottom 5% of calls that have gone their way.
The most egregious call was the missed PI on the McDuffie pick after the Jags went up 7. That one was clear as day. But I also thought the long kickoff returns that were called back against the Chiefs were ticky tack, AND just the sort of penalty that if they league was trying to help the Chiefs, they wouldn’t have called, because no one would have noticed them anyway.

I watched that game and the refs weren’t cheating, they were inept. Bad calls / no calls for both teams. Refs suck these days. I used to think it only happened to the Lions, and we certainly get out share, but I watch a ton of games now and everyone gets screwed.
