yeah, salary cap, as i said last year, i expect it to go up exponetntially the next couple years atleast
Most early projections are playing it safe, expect 21 mill plus like every year for the next couple years at minimum

The Lions are also carrying over $23.7 million into 2025, 5th most in the league.
The Hutch extension really wont effect spending untill 2027 at the earliest maybe even 2028 depending how they structure it.
So yes absolutely. After signing a few in house guys, bring back a few cheap guys. It will definitely leave enough room to add one decently high profile FA

The salary cap will never be an issue for this team. They have THE BEST, #1, top of the mountain, cap specialists in place. Unless Holmes goes completely apeshit (he won’t) we’ll be just fine. Even with all the spending on our guys we have the #6 best cap health. Aidan, Kerby, Brian will all be taken care of and we can still add. Sleep tight mates.
