I thought we’d get Saints VS Lions here in Dallas.
Atlanta vs Pittsburgh is a pretty ass game to draw the A team for Fox. I figured they would take the Tampa Bay and Cincy game, or even the Chicago vs Carolina game. No one wants to watch Tua vs Aaron Rodgers.

Kinda makes you wonder if it’s Atlanta or Pittsburgh that is popular out west, or, are they just willing to sacrifice ratings west of the Mississippi?

Kinda stupid. Neither team is all that popular, and, I don’t think Rogers is the draw they hope.
Big Willie said it years ago. If you gave a network a choice to show only Cowboys, Packers and Steelers games…they would take that deal. All 3 have national fan bases that are easy to sell advertisements based on. The Steelers have a strong and loyal national following.

You can find a Steelers bar in just about every major city in America. In Cedar Rapids, Iowa, it’s “Cocktails”. I’ll either be in Fresno or San Fran a week from Sunday. If it’s San Fran Shanghai Kelley’s is the Steelers bar. If I were there this weekend I would definitely be hanging, it’s their 40th Anniversary. Their years of winning endeared that team to the entire country and in a, “What have you done lately world”, it doesn’t seem to matter.

I will keep saying it. It’s no bargain by any means, but if you love football, Sunday Ticket is awesome. Watch any game you want, including the Lions games if you are out of the area. I like having the Lions game on my big tv, and a couple games I want to keep an eye on running on my PC monitor and smaller tv.
