Paul Maurice 5-0 all time in game 7s. One game for the Leafs to advance to the ECF for the first time in a quarter century. I have been a die hard Leaf fan my entire life and I believe in this team. Treliving has done such an unreal job revamping the defense. Hopefully 34 got the monkey off his back last game and comes through with a generational performance tonight. If he wants to be considered one of the greats he has to take over the game tonight.

As a Wings fan in southern Ontario, I have always had contempt for the Leafs and their fans. And rooted against them because I wanted them to always look at the Wings as big brother. The endless choking has been highly amusing. Petty, I know. But enough is enough. Would be happy for @stephenboyd57. Hopefully he wouldn’t go streaking and end up in jail.
I want to see McDavid get a ring. That would be my first preference. But I think I’m ready for the Leafs to finally get their Cup. Not sure if Leaf fans will handle it well, probably not. But eff Florida and Dallas. Time for another cup up north.

With the Peg going down that’s 1 less arrow in the quiver for Canada. They would have been guaranteed a team in the finals if Edmonton/Winnipeg both made the WCF.

This series is great and terrible at the same time. I despise Florida (because they play the way I wish the Wings would), would love them if they were my team. So I want Florida to lose, but I want Mitch Marner to be a Red Wing in the worst way. The sooner Toronto loses, the more likely Marner is a Red Wing

Marner would be a perfect fit for Detroit. Soft, plays small, will require a huge overpayment. This guy thinks he is worth more than Rantanen? Lol.
Marner is a great regular season player at least the Red Wings won’t have to worry about him disappearing in the playoffs since they never make it.
Lol, a Leaf fan certainly has a firm grasp of the word “never”.

There aren’t many fat hockey players. It’s tremendous cardio. I used to eat Taco Bell all the time and I never put on weight.
