The Oilers have the 3 best players in the series with Bouchard being the third one and keep in mind that the Oilers best winger has missed this series.
Again though, the Panthers are the deepest team in the NHL but that doesn’t meanthe Oilers don’t have depth just because they aren’t as deep as the Panthers. The Oilers depth before this series (the first 3 games) was key in every series. Sorry but you’re wrong on this.

It sure was. Florida was all over them. Shots were 11 to 2 at one point. 3 nothing at the end of 1. Oilers were awesome after that though. To score 5 goals when McDavid only has 1 assist is even more impressive.

Oilers have been badly outplayed this series, 2-2 is about as good as they could hope for.

They were pretty darn good last night after period 1. Penalties have killed that at times…some of them dumb penalties. Agreed lucky to be 2 to 2.

Disagree. Game 3 yes but Games 2 and 4 were pretty much even and I thought the Oilers had the better of the play in Game 1, it’s been pretty even overall. The Oilers need to stay out of the penalty box, that’s been killing them. They largely stayed out of the box after the 1st and they had the better of the play as a result.

I agree with you. This is the style of hockey they play though. Since they don’t have any depth a lot of times looks like they’re getting out played, then they score something crazy like 4 consecutive goals unless they’re busy giving up 4 goals in a row against

So basically once they took the free McDavid ice away its leaned heavily Florida. Not sure what happened in this comeback but I watched overtime and it was a combination of good goaltending and a massive amount of luck.
